Christmas
The Reindeer Who Was Afraid of Heights
On Christmas Eve, something crashes off the roof into the yard: Fudge, a reindeer in training who’s afraid of heights. Without him the sleigh flies crooked, and Santa had to skip the whole street. He’ll pass by again at five thirty, and Fudge has to be up there. Half an hour to learn to fly without looking down.

Here’s how it looked with Lucas, Emma and Nora

It was Christmas Eve, and at Lucas, Emma and Nora’s house everything was ready: the tree with its ornaments, the star on top and, by the fireplace, a plate of cookies for Santa, a glass of milk and a carrot for the reindeer.
But Lucas, Emma and Nora couldn’t sleep.
And then, up on the roof:
KA-THUMP!
Something slid down the shingles, jingle, jingle, jingle… and FLUMP! It landed in the yard.
They ran to the window. Upside down in the snow was a reindeer. A teeny reindeer. With the snowman’s hat stuck on his antlers.
